    Recommended PHP IDE?

I am sick of updating Eclipse all the time and banging my head against the wall dealing with the dependencies between projects. I am looking for a good PHP-specific IDE. Any recommendations? Free is great, but I am willing to pay a small amount for something that is much better.

    SVN integration is very useful.
    FTP support is a must.

    I use two

Nusphere PHPED - initial cost is about $ 200, but it is outstanding and unlike ZEND, it is not written in JAVA (IMO slows down windows)

phpDesigner - This is what I use everyday. It has all the functions you want and is cheap. It is around $ 60, but has a trial that lasts 30 days.

If you want to try either, contact me via email

I use PHPEd on Wndows and Aptana on MAC

Both I find are certainly worth the money.

    Hi Mike,

Yes it has quite a few hidden features:

CTRL + Shift + S ( Save and Upload ) is one of my favorites.

I also have a coupe of ruby Scripts that create commonly used tasks.

    Barry
