Exclamation Creating an Approval Process - All in one or Multiple processes

    Hi All,

I have a question about creating an "Approval Process" and if I can do this in one process or do I need to create multiple processes.

    The problem:
I have a budget proposal object that needs different approvals (Can be multiple approvals as well) for different levels of cost.

    Example:
Group 1 has a budget proposal of $500.00
Group 2 has a budget proposal of $100.00
Group 3 has a budget proposal of $1000.00
Group 4 has a budget proposal of $50.00

    Approval Matrix:
Amount | Mgr Approval | Dir Approval | Financial Budget Dir Approval
    __________________________________________________ ___________
    Budget < $500 | Yes | No | No
    Budget > $500 but < $1000 | Yes | Yes | No
    Budget > $1000 | Yes | Yes | Yes

Can I have these conditions in one Approval Process, and if so how?

Also forgot to mention that the Approvals can be a person or a group. Maybe a user/group matrix with some Apex code???

I did see this tutorial but still have questions: http://www.salesforce.com/community/...l-workflow.jsp

    Thanks,
    --Phill

    Phil,

I did not know the answer so I asked our senior, know it all salesforce administrator and he said

I'm sure you could do the tiered value for approvales through the various tiers

I don't know if you could do the mutliple person/group approval

You might be able to do it with sharing rules
    or public groups

Hope this helps and sorry for the delay, I just finished my masters program and was taking a break from the Internet!!

    Np and Congrats!!!

I have the multi tiered approval process working now it's the email template and email response that I'm having the issue with. Any help on these would be great. I'm also working on making a good example for the tutorials.

    Thanks again,
