Unhappy How to create leads using PHP and Salesforce SOAP API

Hi,

Can some one please briefly explain how to create leads using PHP and Salesforce SOAP API? If you can provide me a sample code it will be a great help for me. Because I have a short time period to get it done.

Many thanks
Nilan

Thanks for joining the site

Are you wanting someone to post a form and have it insert into your Leads object? That is really easy and I can try and get something up by Monday evening

okay let's see if I can help you out here a little

Are you using MySQL? Oracle? can you please share that with me?

ALSO what are the fields that you are trying to populate in salesforce, are they custom or are they already defined

Sorry for all the questions sir, but it will help me define what it would take to help you get a script up and running to populate the Salesforce leads object from your database.

Can you look at my profile and see if you may contact me on one of my IM's or Skype

also have you thought of using a web to lead to populate your salesforce leads tables > Fight Web to Lead Spam w/ Akismet | Perspectives on Salesforce.com

Anyway get back to me and I hope this helps

~Mike

Hi Mike,

Thank you very much for your replies and trying to help me to sort out my issue.
I have already found some coding examples here regarding how to interact with the Salesforce api. Now I have some idea and think I can proceed from that.

This is a really helpful place and I appreciate all the people in here for their attitude to help others. I will let you know if I find any unclear things further.

Thanks a lot
Nilan
